Abstract
In a trim-tilt device for a marine propulsion unit (,), a check valve (,) is provided for allowing a hydraulic fluid to flow from a pump (,) to a first trim chamber (,A) and a first tilt chamber (,A), and a relief valve (,), which is opened if the hydraulic pressure of the first trim chamber (,A) and the hydraulic pressure of the first tilt chamber (,A) become higher than a fixed value, are connect in parallel to a hydraulic fluid low passage (,) connecting a first trim chamber (,A) and a first tilt chamber (,A) to a pump (,).
