Abstract

An element made of elastomeric material (,) is made by overmoulding between the middle part (,) of a watch case and a support ring, in particular a casing ring (,) intended to support the watch movement. This allows the constraints of the inner form and inner machining of the middle part to be reduced, while allowing accurate positioning of the internal elements of the watch with respect to the middle part. The elastomeric element (,) can also assure sealing with the control stem and/or the crystal of the watch.
