Abstract
The invention relates to a safety belt apparatus with a belt roller (,) which is preferably subjected to a bias force in the wind-up direction by a spring and onto which a seat belt (,) is wound up to a greater or a lesser extent, with an acceleration sensor (,) with a movable mass (,) and an auxiliary pawl (,) which is impacted by the latter controlling with the auxiliary pawl (,) a position control ratchet wheel (,) which in turn acts via a transmission (,) on a main pawl (,) which is rotationally fixedly connected to the belt roller (,) in order that the latter engages into a main ratchet crown (,) during the blocking of the position control ratchet wheel (,) by the auxiliary pawl (,) in order to stop the further drawing out of the belt (,). In this the invention provides that the auxiliary pawl (,) is formed at a spring element (,) which damps the thrust movements which are directed against the position control ratchet wheel during the back and forth movement of the mass (,) in such a manner that the rattling noises arising in this are damped to a largely disturbance-free measure.
