Abstract

An adjusting device for a push-pull rod (,) such as is used in motor vehicles between the gearshift lever and the tranmission. To achieve continuous length compensation, the invention uses a spring (,) to directly or indirectly effect clamping between the push-pull rod (,) and the housing of the adjusting device or a connector (,).
