Abstract

The invention provides a polymer which is a polymerization product obtained by polymerizing at least ethylene, 1-pentene and 1-hexene; and a process for producing a polymer by reacting at least ethylene, 1-pentene and 1-hexene in a reaction zone at a pressure between atmospheric and 60 kg/cm,and at a temperature between 30° C. and 120° C., in the presence of a catalyst system. The invention also provides a polymer composition which comprises a terpolymer of ethylene, 1-pentene and 1-hexene, a phenolic stabilizer component, a metal salt of a higher aliphatic acid, and, optionally, at least one organic phosphite stabilizer.
