Abstract
Disclosed are anhydrous antiperspirant and deodorant compositions comprising from about 0.1% to about 50% by weight of an antiperspirant or deodorant active; from about 10% to about 90% by weight of a liquid carrier; and from about 1% to about 60% by weight of a solid, polymorphic, unsubstituted, triglyceride gellant characterized by &bgr;′-2 crystalline order within the compositions. These compositions can be formulated as hard sticks, soft solids or creams, and have improved high temperature texture and phase stability and maintain product hardness even after exposure to high and then low storage temperatures.
