Abstract
The push-pull spout assembly (,) is configured to dispense fluid materials from a container (,). The spout assembly (,) includes a pair of generally tubular, telescopically interfitted first (,) and second members (,) defining a fluid passageway (,). Each member includes a complemental closure wall (,) projecting into the fluid passageway (,). In a blocking position the complemental walls (,) are aligned and block fluid flow through the passageway (,) and in an offset position the members (,) are shifted axially relative to one another to allow fluid flow through the passageway.
