Abstract

A method for producing a seamless metallic belt without a welded line and capable of being easily produced in high accuracy. A seamless belt material,having a defined length as a whole is placed on a core,and is held in a stretching state on the core,thermally expanded by heating, and further, in the above state, an outer circumference of the belt material,is cut to a predetermined thickness. The seamless metallic belt,is obtained by removing after the core,is cooled.
