Abstract
The invention relates to a circuit arrangement for operating at least one electrodeless discharge lams (LP,) having at least one voltage input (j,, j,) for supplying voltage to the circuit arrangement and electrical terminals (j,, j,) for at least one electrodeless discharge lamp (LP,). The circuit arrangement has supervisory means which ascertain the presence or the absence of the at least one electrodeless discharge lamp (LP,) at the electrical terminals (j,, j,) and enable the provision of the ignition or operating voltage for the at least one electrodeless discharge lamp (LP,) only when the at least one electrodeless discharge lamp (LP,) is connected to the electrical terminals (j,, j,).
