Abstract
The invention features transgenic non-human mammals containing a mutation in one or both alleles of the endogenous TIAR gene, and cell lines derived from some of these mammals. The mammals and cell lines of the invention can be employed to identify compounds useful in treating infertility, obesity, neurological disorders, and ovarian sex cord stromal tumors.
