Abstract

In a radio device, a switch,is disposed between a power amplifier,and an antenna,, and during production of the radio device, the switch,is connected to a power meter,. A battery voltage or a detection voltage corresponding to a predetermined transmission power is measured, and then stored as a comparison voltage in a memory,. In use, the battery voltage or the detection voltage is compared with the comparison voltage, and upon detection of a low voltage, this fact is announced from a speaker,to a user.
