Abstract
A trailer personnel lift (,) with a level-sensing system (,). The level-sensing system (,) provides information to a level-indicator display (,) that indicates which outriggers (,) of the trailer personnel lift (,) need to be lowered. Upon lowering of the designated outriggers (,), the signal for the outrigger (,) changes so as to indicate that the outrigger (,) no longer needs lowering. The outriggers (,) are capable of locking into at least three positions, a first position (,A) in which the outrigger (,) extends substantially horizontal to the surface upon which the personnel lift (,) is to be located, a second position (,A) in which the outrigger (,) extends substantially vertically from the base, and a third position (,A) that is intermediate of the first and second positions, the third position being selected so that the outriggers (,) may be stabilized in the third position (,A) on an upward slope.
