Abstract

In a manifold solenoid valve drive-controlled by serial signals, control systems for a single valve and a double valve are achieved by simple switching of a single control system. For this purpose, in order to transmit serial signals to solenoid valves through manifold blocks,on which solenoid valves, are mounted and which are connected, a printed circuit board, having connecting terminals, and, for transmitting serial signals, a slave chip, for extracting operation signals for the solenoid valves from the serial signals, a feeder terminal, for supplying power to the solenoid valves, based on the operation signals, and a switching device, for switching the slave chip between a single solenoid valve mode and a double solenoid valve mode is detachably accommodated in an electric circuit section,of each manifold block,. Connecting adjacent manifold blocks, enables common passages, and, for supply and exhaust that penetrate the manifold blocks,to be placed in communication and also enables the connecting terminals, and,to be interconnected.
