Abstract
Methods of treating,pneumonia comprise administering a therapeutically effective amount of a dicationic dibenzofuran compound described by Formula (I). Methods of treating,pneumonia also comprise administering a therapeutically effective amount of a dicationic dibenzothiophene compound described by Formula (II). Novel compounds are also disclosed, and are represented by the Formulae (I) and (II).
