Abstract
A process for the preparation of amido acid phenyl esters of the formula ##STR1## by reaction of a compound of the formula ##STR2## with a compound of the formula ##STR3## in the presence of an acid halide, where A, R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, X and M are as defined in the description, is claimed. The resulting amido acid phenyl esters are used as bleach activators in detergents and cleaners.
