Abstract

A description is given of compounds of the formula ##STR1## in which the general symbols are as defined in claim 1, and of their zirconium, bismuth and calcium salts, and of the salts with the compounds of the formula II ##STR2## in which the general symbols are as defined in claim 1, as corrosion inhibitors in coating compositions for protecting metallic surfaces.
