Abstract

A thermal transfer image-receiving sheet for a sticker comprises a sticker portion and a release sheet portion, the sticker portion being comprising a substrate, a receptor layer disposed on a front surface side of the substrate and an adhesive layer disposed on a back surface side of the substrate, the release sheet portion being comprising a support sheet and a grip layer disposed on a back surface side of the support sheet, and an adhesive area of a back surface of the sticker portion being covered with the release sheet in a peelable adhesion with a front surface of the release sheet portion facing to the back surface of the sticker portion, wherein said grip layer is a non-oriented synthetic resin layer having a softening point of 110.degree. C. or more. The grip layer is well bitten by spikes of a grip roller of a printer to prevent misregistering. The grip layer is preferably formed by extrusion lamination.
