Abstract
A cosmetic composition comprising an oil component and a particulate matter component, the improvement wherein the composition additionally contains an uncrosslinked synthetic polymer comprising a first repeat unit selected from the group consisting of methacrylate ester monomers which, if polymerized, would yield a polymer having a glass transition temperature of -10 to 75.degree. C.; and a second repeat unit selected from the group consisting of methacrylate ester monomers which, if polymerized, would yield a polymer having a glass transition temperature in the range of about 76 to 120.degree. C., the synthetic polymer having a glass transition temperature ranging from about 20 to 105.degree. C.
