Abstract
A method and system for target detection processing transmits energetic pes into a media in which the energetic pulses propagate diffusively. Diffusively propagating reflections of the energetic pulses from a target are transformed into corresponding wave propagating reflections satisfying a conventional wave equation. The wave propagating reflections are then processed in accordance with a synthetic aperture processing technique.
