Abstract
Vinyl sulfone and/or .beta.-halo sulfone compounds have been found to improve fog stability on shelf aging of photothermographic imaging elements. These elements comprise a photosensitive silver halide, silver salt oxidizing agent and reducing agent for silver ion in a binder.
