Abstract

A spline hub 6 is formed with a cylindrical boss (11) configured for engagement with a shaft extending from, for instance, a transmission. Axial spline grooves and circumferential grease grooves (14) are formed on the inner peripheral surface of the boss (11). A first axial end surface (14) of the grease groove (14) is tapered.
