Abstract

A hot-melt ink that exhibits good penetration into recording paper, comprises at least one binder and at least one coloring matter dispersed or dissolved therein, and the hot-melt ink, during cooling, exhibits a peak at a temperature of 61.degree. C. or below on a heating/cooling hysteresis curve plotted for the range 40.degree. C. to 150.degree. C. using a differential scanning calorimeter.
