Abstract

New compositions of matter are organofunctional cocyclic siloxanes of the formula ##STR1## where R1 to R3 are alkyl groups of 1-6 carbon atoms; a and b have a value of 1-10; and R4 is an aminoalkyl group or a carboxyalkyl group. Some representative R4 groups are --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 NH.sub.2, --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 NHCH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 NH.sub.2, --CH.sub.2 CH(CH.sub.3)CH.sub.2 NHCH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 NH.sub.2, and --(CH.sub.2).sub.10 COOH.
