Abstract
A color correcting device for applying a color correction to an image data made up of color components of three primary colors and read by a color image reader means, the device includes: an image data extractor for extracting an image data of a predetermined color to be corrected based on a density balance of the respective color components of three primary colors, and a corrector for correcting a density level of a specified color component set in advance in correspondence with the color to be corrected, out of the color components of the extracted image data, to a predetermined density level.
