Abstract
The present invention relates to therapeutically active quaternary azacyclic or azabicyclic compounds with formula I: ##STR1## wherein X is oxygen or sulfur and wherein G is selected from the group of azacyclic or azabicyclic ring systems consisting of: ##STR2## a method of preparing the same and to pharmaceutical compositions comprising the compounds. The novel compounds are useful in treating a cholinergic deficit in the peripheral system.
