Abstract

The invention relates to the use of at least one compound of general formula (I), ##STR1## in which R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 independently of one another represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl or alkenyl radical; R.sub.4 represents an alkyl or alkenyl radical, and n represents 1 to 5; or of an acid addition salt thereof, as an inhibitor of corrosion in the extraction, processing, storage and transportation of crude oil and natural gas, and to a process for the preparation of this compound.
