Abstract
If a catalyst consisting of an aluminoxane and a metallocene of the formula I ##STR1## in particular R.sup.5 R.sup.6 C (Ind).sub.2 or R.sup.5 R.sup.6 C (Ind).sub.2 Zr(CH.sub.3).sub.2, is employed for the polymerization of olefins of the formula
