Abstract
A lubricating grease compound formed of a basic oil and a lower proportion of a thickening agent which is a polyurea (polycarbamide) compound as well as the usual additives, in which the base oil is an ester of an aromatic di-, tri-, or tetra-carboxylic acid with one or more C.sub.7 -C.sub.18 -alkanols and the thickening agent is the reaction product of a compound of the general formula
