Abstract
Disclosed is a dielectric ceramic composition containing an essential component represented by the formula, xBaO-yTiO.sub.2 -zRe.sub.2 O.sub.3, wherein x, y and z are in mol %; x+y+z=100; and (x, y, z) falls within a polygonal region defined by four points of A (39.5, 59.5, 1), B (1, 59.5, 39.5), C (1, 85, 14) and D (14, 85, 1), and further containing V, Cu and Mn as side components in an amount of about 0.1 wt. % to 15 wt. % in terms of V.sub.2 O.sub.5, in an amount not greater than 10 wt. % in terms of CuO, and in an amount not greater than 1 wt. % in terms of MnO, respectively, relative to 100 wt. % of the essential component.
