Abstract

A crop sprayer includes a support assembly including a chassis member and an offset frame member which are secured together so as to define a mounting space. The chassis member defines a chassis bottom surface which is positioned at a first vertical height above the ground. The crop sprayer further includes a storage tank, supported by the chassis member, for storing a quantity of liquid therein. Also, the crop sprayer includes a boom arm assembly which is supported by the chassis member. The crop sprayer additionally includes a number of nozzles in fluid communication with the storage tank, with the number of nozzles being supported by the boom arm assembly. Also, the crop sprayer includes a suspension assembly mounted to the support assembly, wherein (i) the suspension assembly includes a suspension frame which is at least partially positioned within the mounting space, (ii) the suspension frame defines a suspension top surface which is positioned at a second vertical height above the ground, and (iii) the second vertical height is greater than the first vertical height. Moreover, the crop sprayer includes a number of wheels mechanically coupled to the suspension frame.
