Abstract
A method and apparatus for controlling the braking system of a vehicle having at least two subvehicles. For at least one subvehicle, an electrically controlled braking system is provided, where the driver's braking inputs and control variables resulting in application and/or release of the wheel brakes are taken into account. The corresponding application or release control variables for the second subvehicle are ascertained from the equilibrium of forces of the overall vehicle.
