Abstract

A process for producing a surfactant composition by partially saponifying an alkoxylated triglyceride having the formula: ##STR1## with an alkali metal hydroxide such as sodium hydroxide and recovering a surfactant composition comprising soap and moisturizing agents comprised of alkoxylated monoglycerides and unreacted alkoxylated triglycerides.
