The present invention relates to non-lustrous iron oxide-containing color pigments based on dry-milled inorganic plateletlike substrates having a particle size of <60 .mu.m, characterized in that the iron oxide compound is yellow FeO(OH) and/or Fe.sub.2 O.sub.3.
