Abstract

The invention relates to a film having more than one layer and made from cycloolefin polymers and having a base layer and at least one outer layer, the base layer being built up essentially from a cycloolefin polymer COP having a glass transition temperature Tg and the outer layer being built up essentially from a mixture of cycloolefin polymers, wherein the mixture of cycloolefin polymers comprises at least two cycloolefin polymers COP.sub.1 and COP.sub.2 whose glass transition temperatures Tg.sub.1 and Tg.sub.2 differ by at least 5.degree. C., where Tg.sub.2 -Tg.sub.1 .gtoreq.5.degree. C. and at the same time the condition Tg.sub.2 -Tg.gtoreq.5.degree. C. is fulfilled.
