Abstract
A trimming gear on the mast top of a windsurfing rig having an adjusting element that can be connected to the sail top and fixed relative to the mast is arranged on the mast top. The adjusting element is actuated by a reducing gear and can be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the mast. Since the adjusting element is actuated by a reducing gear, it is possible to precisely adjust or trim the sail top with a relatively low expenditure of force, namely also in the tensioned state.
