Abstract

The invention provides a photographic element comprising a light sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a cyan dye-forming coupler of formula (I), a phenolic solvent of formula (II) and a bisphenol derivative compound of formula (III): wherein the substituents are as defined herein the specification.
