Abstract
A magnetic recording method employing a magnetic head and a magnetic recording medium, wherein the size (H.sub.n) of the magnetic field which gives the maximum differential for the direct current remanance curve of the magnetic recording medium and the intensity (H.sub.head) of the recording magnetic field of the magnetic head at the track center position are in the relationship: H.sub.head /2.ltoreq.H.sub.n .ltoreq.H.sub.head, and the maximum value for the magnetic interaction between magnetic particles of the magnetic recording medium (.delta.M) is less than 0.3.
