Abstract
Disclosed are proteinaceous compositions comprising collagen and an effective amount of a compatible cytotoxic drug which compositions are characterized by having a single collagen transition temperature of less than about 45.degree. C. Such compositions possess enhanced retention of the cytotoxic drug at the site of injection and are optically translucent.
