Abstract
The present invention relates to a coating composition and a pigment dispersant comprising aldimine having the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is alkyl, aryl, cycloaliphatic or substituted alkyl, aryl, cycloaliphatic or heterocyclic group, and R.sub.2 is monomeric or polymeric aliphatic, aromatic, arylaliphatic or cycloaliphatic group which may contain O, N, S, or Si.
