Abstract

Stabilized compositions of nithiazine which are suitable for long term use in an agricultural application. The compositions typically contain nithiazine, a hydroxyalkyl-tert-amine and an antioxidant. Suitable hydroxyalkyl-tert-amines include, for example, triethanolamine, 4-(2-hydroxyethyl)morpholine, N-(2-hydroxyethyl)pyrrolidine, ETHOMEEN S12.RTM., ETHOMEEN C12.RTM. and ETHOMEEN T12.RTM.. Suitable antioxidants include, for example, TENOX GT-2.RTM. (a mixture of 70% tocopherols) and alkyl gallates.
