Abstract

Compounds of the formula I ##STR1## in which the symbols have the meanings indicated in the claims, have outstanding antiarrhythmic properties. They exhibit a cardioprotective component. They can inhibit or greatly decrease, in a preventive manner, the pathophysiological processes in the formation of ischemically induced damage, in particular in the elicitation of ischemically induced cardiac arrhythmias. Moreover, they have a strong inhibitory action on the proliferation of cells.
