Abstract
A method is described for the preparation of electrophotographic toner particles which includes the use of SOLSPERSE.RTM.. The method involves dissolving in ethyl acetate a hyperdispersant selected from SOLSPERSE.RTM. 24000 and SOLSPERSE.RTM. 20000, thereby forming a solution; mixing the solution with a polymer material to form an organic phase; dispersing the organic phase in an aqueous phase containing a particulate stabilizer and homogenizing the resultant dispersion; evaporating the solvent; and washing and drying the resultant product.
