Abstract
A thrust bearing includes a flange formed on the outside of only a first bearing washer, a second bearing washer formed into a simple flat plate, a notch having a rectangular cross-section formed on the outside of the second bearing washer, and a leading edge of the flange bent so that it is inserted into the notch.
