Abstract
A dietary supplement is provided that binds lipid to aid in weight loss and reduce cholesterol. The supplement includes chitosan, or a nutritionally acceptable derivative thereof, and aloin (especially aloe saponins); it can include at least one additional ingredient including any of betaine hydrochloride (betaine HCI), oat fiber or beta-glucan.
