Abstract
Described is a cosmetic composition comprising (A) an amide compound having a melting point of 0 to 50.degree. C. and (B) a hydrophilic surfactant. The cosmetic composition according to the present invention can enhance the water-retaining ability of the stratum corneum and is excellent in skin-roughness lessening effects.
