This invention relates to a liquid crystal composition comprising a water insoluble organic compound, a nonionic surfactant, an abrasive, an ethoxylated alkyl ether sulfate surfactant or alkyl sulfate surfactant, a fatty acid, a magnesium salt, a monoester of a C.sub.4 -C.sub.15 organic diol and water.
