Abstract

The present invention relates to compounds of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are independently selected from alkoxy radicals having from 1 to 8 carbon atoms, x is O or an integer of from 1 to 10; and Y is Li, K or Na. These compounds may be used as silica couplers in rubber compositions.
