Abstract
The use of a mixture of hard and soft magnetites as well as a lubricating wax in the formulation of single component developers is disclosed. The mixture allows for sufficient high remenance for MICR applications without high levels of magnetite loadings that can adversely affect the toner rheological properties and at the same time reduce sorter image abrasion.
