Abstract
A method, computer system, and computer program for simulation based interpretation of geological data stored in a geoscience model. Data is acquired and interpreted to produce a geoscience model. A simulator is applied to a simulation input model to produce synthetic data. The synthetic data is compared to the acquired data, which was used to build the geoscience model. The geoscience model is edited to reduce the difference between the acquired data and the synthetic data.
