Abstract

An airbag inflator comprises a housing having an interior and gas outlet ports communicating with the interior and open to outside the housing. First and second divider walls separate at least two gas chambers from the interior. A pressurized combustible gaseous mixture is stored in each gas chamber. An initiator is disposed within each gas chamber and actuatable to ignite the pressurized combustible gaseous mixture.
